ABOUT
Ed Staudinger
Gratitude is the foundation of my mindset and philosophy in life. I know that my success was only made possible with the support of countless people over the years, where effort alone would have only gotten me so far.
On the professional front, I served for 3 years in the Canadian Forces, including a combat tour in Afghanistan in 2008. I also spent 12 years with the Edmonton Police Service, with experience in operations, instructing, and peer support.
I'm an avid student of mindset, health, and performance. I strive to share my experiences and knowledge with people who are searching for that extra edge in performance and quality of life.
I am currently the director of training for All Around Consulting, where we provide high-performance leadership consulting, coaching, and facilitation for emerging and frontline leaders.
MY STORY
I’ve always been driven by purpose, and my sense of duty has led me through some dark places. Whether serving my country with a combat deployment to Afghanistan, protecting my community as a police officer, or supporting my family during my late wife's courageous battle with cancer – duty has always been my guiding light.
I've learned that we are all connected by hardship and the pursuit of meaning. Although our stories may differ, our goals, hopes, and dreams connect us all. Underneath our labels, limiting beliefs, and fears, we all want the same thing: to live authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
Today, I am dedicated to sharing these hard-learned lessons to empower others to re-discover themselves and share their unique and authentic gifts with the world. My approach combines lived experience with evidence-based strategies to live a purpose-driven life of meaning and fulfillment.
Our Story:
What's the deal with all the butterflies?
Interestingly, butterflies start their lives as caterpillars, and to grow into their true forms, they must undergo a grueling transformation process.
Caterpillars create a chrysalis, a strong shell that protects them during the process. Inside the chrysalis, their bodies completely break down before becoming the butterflies we all know.
Once their wings are formed, they must struggle to break free from the chrysalis. If they were cut free, they would die because that struggle is crucial to building the necessary strength to fly.
Like the butterfly, we must undergo hardship and transformation to become the people we are meant to be. We need to cast off the shell of our limiting beliefs and labels holding us back to share our authentic gifts with the world.
